T.A.L.K. The T.A.L.K. meeting is scheduled during the break today in the library. There will be good food provided!!
BVAC in the FPAC: This Wednesday, 9/24, at 1:15 pm in the FPAC, we will be conducting a mandatory bus evacuation drill for all students. Attendance will be taken, so please be on time and sit by advisory. Clubs are free to meet after the drill, around 2:00 pm.
Interact: The deadline for Big Brothers/Big Sisters applications and officer self-nomination forms need to be turned into Mr. Gerber by 4:00 pm today. Please put them in his box or under his door in the student center.
Why China Matters: Please join us for the first of a five part interactive lecture series on China this Wednesday at 7:00 pm in the FPAC. You will learn more about this series at Wednesday's morning meeting, but for now, please mark your calendars and save this date.
ACT Breakfast and Van Sign-up: If you need a van ride to and from the Saturday, September 27th ACT testing, please sign up on Mrs. Tager's window by the end of the school day, Wednesday, September 24 and indicate test site location plus whether or not you need a bag breakfast. Van will leave from the gym at 7:15 am, at which time bag breakfasts will be distributed. On test day, remember to bring your admission ticket, acceptable identification, sharpened #2 pencils with erasers, a watch (with no alarm used) and a permitted calculator with reliable batteries, if you decide to use one for the math portion of the ACT.
Activity Brainstorming Party: If you have an idea for a fun activity or event, please drop by the Activity Brainstorming Party next Monday, September 29 at 10:00 am in the Breakfast Room to share your idea. A surprise treat will be provided. All are welcome.
Extra Help: As the ACT and SAT test dates approach, if any students are interested in some extra practice, please swing by the Math Office and grab a packet. There will be meetings next G-Day during the afternoon from 1:30-3:00 and next Thursday from 6:30-8:00 in the old lecture hall to go over any questions and receive some helpful hints. The first ACT test date is next Saturday, the 27th. If there are any other questions please see Ms. Hagar and Mr. Tennyson. Hope to see you there.
